A theme-based advertising network
We start with the principle that editorial sites, just like sites providing services, must now create and impose their brand on the web. As such, Hi-Media presents to advertisers each of the brands from the sites in its network, while highlighting the added value and positioning specific to each of its sites.
This is why we strive to provide our publishers with the most complete and customized service possible: the task of Hi-Media is to accompany the development of its sites.
The power of the Hi-Media Network
Today, our intention is to provide our advertisers with the most exhaustive offer, in order to build the loyalty of as many of them as possible and, consequently, to assure our publishers of advertising revenues in keeping with the sales potential of their sites.
To this end, our business offer must cover the entire market, from the types of sites (target, traffic, concept) through to campaigns (banners, sponsoring, video....),: with its 68% penetration rate* in France , Hi-Media is now a useful contact for any advertiser wishing to make a mark on the Internet.

A network on a human scale
The growth of our business and of the number of customers have, of course, led to internal developments in proportion. Thus, each publisher within the network has several contact people dedicated to following up the sales, marketing and technical activities on its site.
The Hi-Media Network service
We pay particular attention to the relations with our publishers. It is indeed essential to establish a genuine synergy between a site's creators and the network which, on the one hand, represents the site's content and, on the other hand, must develop its revenues.
Thus, as part of our service, our publishers have access, within each Hi-Media department (business, technical, marketing), to a dedicated contact, whose task is to deal with all issues that might arise.
Of course, Hi-Media's sole source of revenue is the network commissions, which apply to all campaigns sold on the sites. As such, all of the services that we propose to our publishers are covered by this commission.
The marketing of spaces
Each site has its own clientele manager, who looks after coordinating the entire service provided by Hi-Media. Working with the sales manager, this clientele manager is the contact for all sales operations to be jointly arranged and, more generally, for all commercial issues relating to the site. Hi-Media works with agencies and space purchasing pools but also develops direct contacts with advertisers in order to introduce them to the particular features of each site.
Advertisers are solicited by business sector. The various sectors are distributed amongst the Hi-Media salespeople. Each sector is canvassed and as soon as its actors begin to make efforts to advertise on the Internet, the sales force is strengthened in this sector to ensure the presence of the network and the media that it represents. The salespeople propose campaigns to advertisers, agencies or space purchasing pools. In their proposals, the salespeople give the technical characteristics of the campaign and medium. The main elements of the sales proposal are accessible online. At any time, publishers can intervene and submit comments, or even refuse a
campaign.
At the end of the campaign, a complete report is sent to the advertiser or its representatives. This report is also available to the publisher.
The technical management of advertising insertions
Hi-Media uses an ad server that runs the HELIOS software produced by Adtech.
This server’s operating principle is to place HTML tags on the web pages of each site in its network. When these pages are read by web surfer’s browser, the tags call on the Hi-Media server.
The set-up of these tags is therefore very simple. Hi-Media provides its publishers with the services of its “traffic managers” in order to optimize the management of the advertising campaigns on your site and to manage your space for purposes of exchanges and self-promotion.
The network’s marketing dynamics
Hi-Media regularly updates the online advertising market on the status of its offer, through communications with advertising professionals.
This communication is through:
-
space purchases in the professional communication press
(Stratégies, CB News,…),
-
press relations in the communication press and in the communication sections in the daily press,
-
space purchases on professional sites on the Internet (www.journaldunet.com…),
-
event-related mailings.
